- Make the skull faces: Using a clean drinking straw, small piping tip, or the tip of a paring knife, carefully make:
- 2 larger holes for the eyes
- 1–2 small holes for the nose
- Several tiny holes or short cuts for the mouth
- Assemble: Spread the green tortilla chips over a serving tray. Arrange the skull eggs on top and add small pieces of red bell pepper around them for a spooky Halloween effect.
- Chill: Refrigerate for about 20–30 minutes before serving.
Tip: Make the face holes after the eggs are filled if you want the yellow filling to show through the eyes and mouth, as it does in the photo.
