What To Do If You’re Bitten by an Assassin Bug
A strange insect bite can be alarming, especially when the insect looks unfamiliar. One group that often attracts attention is the assassin bug, particularly certain species known as kissing bugs.
But there is an important fact to understand: not every assassin bug is dangerous, and not every kissing bug carries disease.
Some species can carry the parasite responsible for Chagas disease, so knowing what to do after a suspected bite is useful.
