How Tow Eyes Work
Tow eyes provide a secure point to attach a tow hook, making it safer to pull your vehicle. Larger trucks often have visible metal hooks on their grilles. Smaller cars, however, hide their tow connection behind that plastic panel.
To use it, simply pop off the cover and screw a tow hook into the threaded hole underneath. This creates a solid connection point for towing. Attaching a tow strap to any other part of the bumper can cause serious damage.
